Times student essay competition tackles cameras in court.
One Essex Court is a set of barristers' chambers in London, specialising in commercial litigation, which was founded in 1966. Currently comprising 85 full-time members, 32 of whom are silks or Queen's Counsel. One Essex Court's members include well-known silks Lord Grabiner QC and Laurence Rabinowitz QC. Prior to her appointment to the Commercial Court, Elizabeth Gloster QC was a member.These range from the long-standing competitions like The Times Law Awards, which runs in association with One Essex Court, to the less well known. Court members and other stakeholders, including our alumni and local MPs are invited to an Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting is usually chaired by the Chancellor of the University and provides an opportunity for Court members to be engaged in the work of the University, to network and to meet with members of the University community and other stakeholders.
